Nonchalant Mien

This laid-back look is very cozy from top to bottom. Maxi skirts are my favourite thing this season as they create an illusion that elongates the body, this is essential to all petite girls like me. Another awesome thing about maxi skirts is that they can also be adapted to many looks that are suitable for any occasions. This look focuses on an everyday look from my loose-fitting 'DREAM' top to a simple tan sandals and cross body bag. This maxi skirt is one of my favourite skirts because it's elegant and I love the split on both sides of the skirt, this allows me to show off my legs in summer seasons.
Very nonchalant, that even my hair is not straightened.
Baggy 'Dream' top from New Look.
Tan cross body sandal from H & M.Tan sandals. I've had this for three years now and it's very comfy. I love it!
I love how my maxi skirt accentuate my waist, making it seem smaller.
I've got to say that this elegant black maxi skirt from New Look is my favourite thing ever!
Everyone can rock a maxi skirt. Just make sure you wear the right shape and length. If you're into bright, summery colours (like me) then you can buy some in your favourite high-street or designer shop! However, since black goes with everything, I suggest you get one first before buying all different colours! Every girl needs a classy black maxi skirt :)

Summer's a comin!

This simple look is something I wore on a sunny Wednesday. An effortless look and very comfortable I must say! The dress is quite long, and whoever said that a petite girl like me can't pull off a knee-length dress is wrong! Anyone can pull off a long dress but it depends on your body shape. I wanted to wear this floaty dress because it adds shape to my thighs. I wouldn't normally go for super tight dresses because I don't tend to wear clothes that draw attention to my thighs, but I can work it out :) I added a knitted vest with the same colour shade of my dress just to play with this outfit. I wore tan sandals because they are comfortable and it balances the darker shades of my dress and vest. This summer, don't be afraid to wear simple clothes! Effortless look is the way forward.
Candid shot.

I absolutely love this Forever 21's dark brown vest. Perfect accessory for any simple looks you have.

Ebony and Ivory

This look focuses on an edgier look of combining an elegant black blazer, my favourite jeans and a t-shirt. Black goes with everything so any colour of your t-shirt will do just fine. However, for this specific look, I chose a black top because I wanted the whole outfit to look a bit edgy. I also think that this look works best with monochrome tones, hence the title 'Ebony and Ivory'. Anyone can pull this look off, it's easy! :)
I've always wanted to do this pose :)
- River Island'Black & White Dalmatian Spots with two Reversed Triangles Print Shirt.
- H&M's fitted black blazer. Perfect fit for petite girls like me. You can substitute this fitted blazer with a boyish one for an even edgier look

Long shot- New Look's Black wedges, but black stilettos will work just as well

Bargain Look

My first look is what I would call a 'Bargain Look'. Believe me or not but this whole outfit only costs me around £20 (no sales!). Who said that fashion needs to be branded? It really depends on the person to pull out clothes that costs as little as possible. Confidence is also a key. If you're a confident person, then you can wear anything from a D.I.Y. dress to Coco's classic little black dress.
Polka-dot dress: Primark, £15 (Bargain!)
If you're lucky and patience, you can get your hands to some really nice clothes from Primark! Midi dress usually costs £25 or more, but why pay £10 extra when you can get your hands on this chic midi dress.
Nude shoes: Nepo Mall (Philippines) 300 pesos (£4.39 approx - DOUBLE BARGAIN!)
Nude shoes from top high street brands such as Topshop and River Island are really expensive. The cheapest you can get is probably £30, so this was a definite bargain!
The dress accentuates my waist line, making it appear smaller. Nude shoes is perfect for a petite girl like me. It gives me height and makes my legs appear longer.
